Description Cistus laurifolius
An evergreen shrub originating from the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean is 1-1.5 meters tall. Leaves leathery, ovate, slightly sticky, flowers large, white with a yellow center, VI-VIII. Requires a sheltered habitat in full sun and well-drained, calcareous soils. In the higher areas of the Czech Republic, winter cover is necessary.
