Description Achillea filipendulina ‘Coronation Gold’

The botanical species occurs in a wide range from Southwest to Central Asia. It primarily grows in drier submontane meadows and steppe communities.

It is a tufted species with upright sturdy stems ending in large flat inflorescences.

The plants bloom from the second half of June to August and reach a height of 70-80 cm. The inflorescences are bright yellow and can also be used in dry arrangements. It is a completely undemanding, long-lived species that reliably winters. It can be easily propagated by dividing clumps in the spring during sprouting or after flowering.

Tolerates locations with a lack of moisture.

It can also be very well used in plantings mulched with gravel.

Designation circle FR 2 - 1 - open areas with fresh to drier soil.
